Behind the Scenes at Our Glass Factory – A Full Tour of Precision & Craftsmanship

We recently took a camera through our industrial park and into the heart of our production floor. The video you’re about to see is a complete, unedited journey – from raw glass forming to finished, spray-painted jars ready for shipment. Every step follows strict quality standards, and we want you to see exactly how your candle jars, perfume bottles, and reed diffuser containers are made.

Below is a walkthrough of what you will see in the video. We have explained each process using professional glassmaking terminology, so you can understand the craftsmanship behind every piece.

Our Manufacturing Base – Where It All Begins

The video opens with an overview of our industrial park in Shenzhen, China. This is the hub where raw materials arrive, production lines operate, and finished goods are stored before global delivery. A clean, organized environment is the first sign of reliable manufacturing – and we take pride in maintaining that standard.

Glass Forming & Fire Polishing – Shaping the Bottle

Inside the production hall, you will see the most critical stage: forming. Molten glass, heated to over 1500 °C, is fed into an individual section (IS) machine. Using the press-and-blow (P&B) method, the glass is first pressed into a blank mold to form the neck and rough shape, then transferred to a final blow mold where compressed air expands it into the complete bottle or jar.

Immediately after forming, you will see fire polishing. This is where a high-temperature flame passes over the glass surface, especially the rim and any sharp edges. Fire polishing melts away microscopic burrs and smooths the finish – it is what gives our jars a comfortable, safe feel and a brilliant gloss.

Deflash & Brushing – Removing Excess Glass

After cooling slightly, every container goes through a deflashing station. Sometimes a thin layer of excess glass remains at the parting lines of the mold. Our automated brushes rotate at high speed to gently remove this flash without scratching the surface. In the video, you can see the brushes carefully cleaning the inside and outside of each bottle. This step ensures that the glass is perfectly smooth before any coating is applied.

Precision Cleaning – Preparing for Paint

Before any color touches the glass, it must be absolutely clean. The video shows our multi‑stage cleaning line: a combination of rotating nylon brushes and air jets that remove dust, oil, and any residual particles. A clean surface is essential for paint adhesion – without it, the spray color could peel or flake. This is why we never skip this step.

Spray Painting Line – Custom Colors Made to Order

This is the part that most of our clients find most exciting. The video pans across our spray painting workshop, where clear glass jars pass through a fully enclosed booth. We use electrostatic spray guns that apply an even coat of paint – whether it’s matte black, bright white, or a Pantone‑matched custom shade.

After spraying, the jars enter a curing oven where the paint is baked at a controlled temperature. This hardens the coating and makes it resistant to scratches, alcohol, and daily handling. The result is a durable, professional finish that looks premium and lasts.

Quality Inspection & Packaging

Finally, the video shows the packaging line. Every jar is visually inspected under good lighting. Then they are placed into cartons with egg‑crate dividers – each bottle sits in its own compartment to prevent contact and breakage. The cartons are stacked onto pallets, wrapped with stretch film, and secured with polyester straps. This packaging method has been proven over thousands of sea freight shipments to keep breakage rates near zero.
