Ceramic products offer a premium look and feel that glass often cannot match. However, the custom process for ceramic is different – and requires more time, planning, and collaboration.
This guide explains our ceramic custom process from design to delivery.
1. Design & Artwork Submission
To start, we need the following from you:
- Design file – AI or PDF format (for shape, size, and decoration)
- Dimensions – diameter, height, and capacity (ml/oz)
- Color reference – Pantone or RAL code, or physical reference
- Logo file – AI or PDF (if logo printing is required)
- Packaging design – AI or PDF (if custom boxes are needed)
If you are not sure about the design, you can send us a reference photo – we will help you find a similar style.
💡 The more detailed your design file, the more accurate your quotation will be.
2. Quotation & Confirmation
Once we receive your design and specifications, we will send you a quotation within 24 hours.
Our standard MOQ for ceramic products:
- Custom shape (new mold) – MOQ 2,000 pieces
- Custom color / logo / packaging – MOQ 1,000 pieces
If you are a new brand, we recommend starting with a standard shape and focus on custom color and logo first. This saves you mold fees and lowers the initial investment.
3. Sampling – Approval Before Production
After the quotation is confirmed, we proceed to the sample stage.
- A sample fee applies (deductible from your bulk order)
- Sample production takes approximately 1 week
- We will send you photos and videos of the sample for approval
- If you need physical samples, we can ship them to you (air freight, you pay shipping)
We will not start bulk production until you confirm the sample.
4. Bulk Production
Once you approve the sample, we start mass production.
Ceramic production is a complex process that involves:
- Molding and forming
- Drying and trimming
- Glazing and color application
- High‑temperature firing
The entire production cycle typically takes about 45 days – longer than glass because of the multiple firing and drying stages. Good things take time.
5. Quality Control
After production, we inspect every batch before packing:
- Dimensional accuracy (diameter, height)
- Color consistency (glaze and paint matching)
- Surface finish (no cracks, bubbles, or discoloration)
- Logo precision (position, clarity, adhesion)
6. Packaging & Shipping
After quality inspection, we pack your ceramic products using:
- Individual protective wrapping (foam or paper)
- Egg‑crate dividers (to prevent contact and breakage)
- Strong export cartons
- Palletizing and stretch wrapping (for sea freight)
We offer both air freight (for urgent/small orders) and sea freight (for bulk orders). DDP shipping is available – we handle customs and taxes, and deliver to your door.
